ABOUT MONTEREY PENINSULA FOUNDATION Monterey Peninsula Foundation, host of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and PURE Insurance Championship, serves the tri-county area of Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties. It is a diverse region that is also one of contrasts – with a natural beauty that can sometimes mask the very real hardships affecting many residents, especially families with children. Last year, Monterey Peninsula Foundation donated nearly $18 million to over 200 nonprofits and educational institutions – including $1 million in response to devasting storms and floods that impacted the region in early 2023. organizations. Using a responsive approach, we work to strengthen our entire region by partnering with nonprofits whose programs and services address a broad range of community needs. As a spectator at the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, you are helping Monterey Peninsula Foundation create lasting impact throughout the Central Coast. Thank you for joining us!

Thank you for coming out this year, our 39th as title sponsor.

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am has always been a favorite of professionals, amateurs and fans. This year, each shot means even more for players and the community. As one of the PGA TOUR’s first “Signature” events of the season, we have the world’s most elite players, two of golf’s most magnificent and challenging venues, a bigger purse and more FedEx Cup points on the line. Not to mention you – bringing the energy to make it all the more special. Even bigger than the game we love, your being here helps improve lives in this community through the tournament’s rich philanthropic tradition. Remember, it all started 86 years ago in Rancho Sante Fe, California when Bing Crosby invited a few friends to play golf, enjoy a clambake and raise a little money for charity. Over the years, our host organization, Monterey Peninsula Foundation, has raised nearly $220 million for local non-profits. And this week, for every birdie or better made by professionals and amateurs on the 17th hole at Pebble Beach, AT&T’s “Birdies for Students” initiative will pledge $5,000 to provide computers to local families in need.

COMMUNITY & ENVIRONMENT

2024 FEATURED CHARITY

YOUTH ALLIANCE Youth Alliance was founded in 1995 as Hollister Barrios Unidos to address escalating youth gang violence. a continuum of support that includes after-school programs; drop-in prevention programs for teens; bilingual counseling and case management for children, teens, and young adults; parent support services; youth leadership development; restorative justice and intervention programs; and community health and wellness programs. Programs are in over 35 target schools, neighborhood centers, and Youth Alliance Impact Centers. 2 024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Commemorative Painting by Marci Rule

Marci is a realist oil painter based in Laguna Beach, CA. Marci grew up in the beautiful countryside of southwestern Wisconsin and moved to Pinehurst, North Carolina in 1987. While living in Pinehurst, Marci’s observations of the local area fed her desire to paint her surroundings. The serenity and natural beauty of the many golf courses in the area caught her attention and sparked a career as an artist nationally known for painting golf course landscapes.

Marci also spent a decade in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she painted numerous portraits of sports heroes in the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB, along with celebrity drawings & paintings for Kelly-Russell Studios. Many of these paintings were featured in Beckett Publishing magazines, including the Great Sport Heroes publications. Since moving to Southern California 5 years ago, Marci expanded her subjects and began painting ocean and coastal scenes of the area. It is Marci’s goal to create paintings that allow people to be drawn into the scene to recall their own jovous memories. “I want my art to resonate and have meaning... to be a reflection of the loves, passions and interests of the collector.”

Connect a student, Change their world

Millions of Americans don't have the necessary connectivity to learn from home. That’s why AT&T and the Monterey Peninsula Foundation are helping Central Coast non-profits like the Youth Alliance. By supporting resources like after-school programs, computer and internet access, and more, we’re working to connect this community to the future they deserve.
